Mary, your mic was so loud compared to Dave's that it was very jarring whenever you would interrupt him or speak. Also, the interruptions often seemed badly-timed.
thanks for letting me know. It's very difficult getting it "right" on every front when we are doing this in home studios without a production staff running all the gear. I have people tell me all the time that my mic is too low compared to the guest. Sometimes it is the listener's device that is the problem. Also, there tends to be a lag between the host and guest, making it hard to time the conversation without awkward interruptions. We do the best we can. Thanks for listening in spite of the flaws.
